All of the judges he showed under gave credit to his fleece characteristics and appreciated his stout and straight conformation as well. Denali, an Athabaskan (indigenous people in Alaska) word meaning "The Great One", and boy does Denali live up to that meaning! He may have been a slow starter as a juvie, but he gets better and better as a yearling and I don't see that trend stopping. We opted to shear him as he had a fleece break, and his regrowth is nothing short of amazing. He will definitely be one to watch this coming spring as he continues to mature. To say that I am looking forward to putting this boy to work as a herdsire is an understatement!
